The World Bank Supported TN IAM (Irrigated Agriculture Modernization) Project is a follow up of IAMWARM presently it was called as Modernization and Water-Bodies Restoration Management) which has made significant development impacts in the Tamil Nadu state by modernizing irrigation infrastructure, improving water use efficiency, enhancing yield productivity agriculture climate resilient production systems, diversification towards high-value crops, strengthening institutional reforms through Participatory Irrigation Management (PIM) Water Users Association (WUA). Madurai District purposively selected for this study because Irrigated conducted under Agricultural University. foremost objective to assess knowledge level respondents area. According crop technology aspects revealed that (79.00%) beneficiaries possessed using VBN 6 variety cultivation. concluded majority (80.00%) were on (cultural control) fixation light traps, rotation (77.50%) sowing carry out proper season.
